Duties and Responsibilities:

 Podiatrists provide medical care for people with foot, ankle, and lower leg problems. They diagnose illnesses, treat injuries, and perform surgery involving the lower extremities.

Salary: $116,440

Education: Podiatrists must earn a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree and complete a 3-year residency program. Podiatrists must be licensed.
Reflection: I don't think i would like to be a western medical doctor, due to the fact that the medical field wan not the career  in which i was aiming at .

 Eastern medical doctors help injured or ill people improve their movement and manage their pain.  Certain types of therapists are often an important part of rehabilitation and treatment of patients with long term conditions or injuries.

Education: DPT programs usually take 2 years to acquire. Most programs require a bachelor’s degree for submissions as well as specific prerequisites. Most DPT program applicants are required to  apply through Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS).

Reflection :/ i would not like to be an eastern medical doctor due to the fact that i would have to move to the eastern part of the world. In my perspective i would choose to stay in the west side of the world. Aloso the medical field is not what im aiming at as a career

Reflection on Military Medical Careers

Reflection: I think i would like to join the armed forces. That is what i was actually thinking of doing. Joining the armed forces will open up alot of doors up for me. What i plan on doing is Joining the army and then after going to college.

The remaining 17 percent are officers-leaders of the military who managed both activities and enlisted personnel.

Education: All people signing up for any adequate armed forces are required to have either a High School Diploma or GED. Officers usually need a Bachelor’s Degree. Other officers such as Military lawyers are required to have a law degree.

Reflection on Abe Lincoln

                                                               Reflection:
Abraham Lincoln went on a trip to the forest with a fellow coronal. The coronal offered Abraham Lincoln a drink and a smoke. Abraham said sure but if he would mind him telling him a story. Abraham once as a little kid got called out by him mother. Abraham Lincoln was told that his mom has do little time to live. Before leaving Abraham mother asked him to promise her something. She asked him to promise her that never in his life will he get a drink of whiskey or a smoke. Sure enough did Lincoln keep his promise.

 Reflection: I agree , Whatever you see yourself ass is the person you will be. For example, I could say I will never be a police man. If I keep on having that perspective then eventually I will never be able to achieve that. Education: There are several avenues for entry into the field of diagnostic medical sonography. Sonographers may train in hospitals, vocational-technical institutions, colleges and universities or the military. While some educational programs prefer applicants with a background in science or experience in other health professions, others will consider high school graduates with courses in math and science as well as applicants with liberal arts backgrounds.

Environmental Health Specialists/Sanitarians administer environmental and health programs for both public and private agencies and organizations in food protection and safety, water protection, air quality, noise, industrial and land pollution, sewage disposal, hazardous and toxic substances, solid waste management, emergency management and institutional health. Registration signifies a level of expertise and competence based on education and experience that is nationally recognized within the environmental health profession. Examination has the primary purpose of protecting the public by eliminating the unqualified from professional practice. It is not designed to identify the most competent members of the profession, but to assure a minimum level of competence among all practitioners.

Education:

Bachelor's degree from a university or college with at least 45 quarter-hours of science background in environmental sanitation and two years of experience in environmental health working under the supervision of an environmental health specialist Or, a graduate degree in community health or public health and one year of experience in environmental health working under the supervision of an environmental health specialist Reciprocity: Bachelor's or graduate degree as noted above and affidavit of licensure demonstrating proof of current active registration with no current or pending disciplinary action. The registration must have been issued by a regulatory body of another state or a national association recognized by the board.

Reflection: I think I would like to be an environmental health specialist because I will get a chance to administrate environmental and health programs due to the unsureness from the water and food quality. Also because I get an option to work with both public and private agencies and organizations in which a good salary is provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Radiologic Technologists use x-ray machines, ultrasound machines, magnetic resonance scanners, positron emission scanners, and other technologically advanced machines to help diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries under the direction of a physician.  They are responsible for explaining and getting patients ready for radiological tests and treatment that will be performed.  They place the equipment at the right distance and right angle from the patient to make the appropriate images for the physician.  Radiographers also assist physicians in performing sophisticated procedures.  It is their responsibility to ensure that the radiology equipment is properly maintained.  They work in hospitals, clinics, medical laboratories, nursing homes, and in private industry.
Average Salary:  $24,000 - $36,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging science, math, and English courses available in high school. 
To become a registered radiologic technologist, students must complete a two year training program in a hospital or school.  A high school diploma or GED certificate is required for entry into these programs.

I really wouldn't like to settle my career for an operating room technician. In which i wasn't comfortably exposed to the intensive body . The feeling just never got habit taking.

Operating room technicians are also known as surgical technicians or even surgical technicians. They are the starting process in operating rooms for surgery. They are held responsible for having surgical instruments, sterile bandages and linens, needed fluids, and other equipment for the operation. They also personally assist Doctors with provided tools or even count sponges before and after the time of operation.


Average Salary: $16,000-$22,000


Educational Requirements:

                A high school diploma or GED certificate is required. A variety of vocational schools offer programs in operating room technology. Programs vary within one or two years. Students must receive training in medical terminology, physiology, and sterilization methods. The exam by the Association of surgical technologists to become certified
